Harrogate Beginners Photography Course- Magic Light

Magic light is a beginner’s photography course using DSLR Cameras. The course is set over 2-3 hours.

Do you have DSLR camera sat in your cupboard that you have always wanted to use but never known how to work it? Or maybe you are going travelling & want to capture the incredible sights you will see? Do you have small children growing quickly & you want to photograph them daily but can never get a decent photograph?

In the first hour we look at all the technicalities of learning to shoot in manual on your DSLR camera. We look at ISO, Shutter speeds, aperture, depth of field & different lenses. The second half of the course is more practical( My favourite part- Hands on!). We go to a location & have a play with your camera & try all the different settings we have learnt, plus we look at light & composition. If you are anything like me this is the moment everything I have taught you will go ping! It all begins to make sense 🙂

Sarah- Jane & Chris joined me for a Magic light course a couple of weeks ago & thoroughly enjoy it. They went away feeling more confident with their DSLR & ready to practice, practice, practice every thing I had taught them. Even though it was FREEZING we had such a fun afternoon!
